WOW Onboarding: How to Excite, Engage, and Equip Employees

Educational Luncheon 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Presented by Dawn Kaiser

To register: WOW Onboarding: How to Excite, Engage, and Equip Employees

Program Summary:

Did you know that 22% of employee turnover happens within the first 45 days of employment? Knowing that it amazes me how little time and energy is put into onboarding at most companies when you consider how much time and energy is put into recruiting. Onboarding is arguably the most important part of making sure an employee stays engaged. A WOW on-boarding experience should scream “We’re excited for you, we need you, and we’ve got our act together.” So how do you, start your employees off right? In this message, Dawn will reveal how to develop a business case for creating an engaging and empowering onboarding program. Participants will also explore how to integrate their onboarding program with their employer value proposition and organizational culture. Overall participants will walk away ready to implement this change in their organization so they can recruit and retain key talent.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session participants will be able to:

  1. Create a business case for why WOW onboarding programs are critical to talent management and organization success.
  2. Design a WOW onboarding program that supports their employer value proposition and organizational culture using the 5 drivers.
  3. Develop a strategy to implement a WOW onboarding program in their organization.
