Transformation of HR from Traditional to Strategic

Presented by Randy Johnson, VP of HR, Noridan

This session will engage participants in the ageless discussion of leading HR functions away from the more traditional roles and toward roles that are strategic to the organizations they serve.

Learning objectives:

  • Look at traditional roles HR has played and the relative danger of maintaining the status quo.
  • Benefits towards a strategic transformation, such as it's impact on employee performance, employee retention, business revenue and overall profitability.
  • Identify the profile needed for HR to reach the level of Business Partner and the competencies critical for sustainability.
  • Discuss how a Business Partner integrates with other components of the organization (Corporate values, Leadership, Business Management, HR Management).
  • How HR Management can drive the change and provide an overall roadmap to getting there.

APPROVED for 1.0 strategic credit!
